Episode 23: To See the Light ☀️🐠

I read about a fish the other day. A deep-sea fish that spent its entire life in darkness. But in its final moments, instead of sinking, it swam up. Toward the surface. Toward the light. Toward something it had never seen before but somehow knew was there.

And honestly, I find that kind of beautiful. ✨ The fish didn’t chase the light; it simply rose toward something it had never experienced. In its final moments, it saw something different — something new — and it was enough.

Some days, I feel like I’m just drifting, unsure of what’s ahead. But I think that’s the thing — maybe the beauty of rising is in the mystery of it. You don’t always have to know what’s waiting for you at the surface. Sometimes, it’s enough just to move upward, even when you’re not sure where you’re headed.

So, here’s to rising. To trusting there’s something ahead, even if we can’t see it yet. If a fish with no concept of sunlight can swim toward it, maybe we can, too. ☀
